Renaud spent more than six months in our plant. We were able to reorganise our production lines, integrate a new laser cutting machine, and improve our flows as well as the quality of our paintwork. A real asset — we still call him for one-off assignments whenever new equipment arrives in the workshop.

We were having design problems on some machines. We specialise in custom sheet metal subcontracting, and the customer needed a finished product requiring electric geared motors. Thanks to Renaud, we developed a whole new range of powered equipment.

We are a small company, an equipment manufacturer in Spain. We met Renaud on the recommendation of one of his clients. We had a serious problem with hydraulic components: doubts about the sizing and about the real quality of the products delivered by our supplier. Renaud came to us, went back over all our studies and specifications, and we found a specification problem on that type of hydraulic motor — then, after many tests, that the supplier was not meeting the stated quality. He went off to find us the best hydraulic motors and to negotiate the prices. He came back a few weeks later with a motor that fully satisfied us, later validated in robustness and durability testing. He also found us a very sound electric motor manufacturer at very well-placed prices — which increased our margins.

I manufacture agricultural mixer feeders in Poland. I was having trouble finding automation and weighing systems. Renaud came to us, looked at our production and understood our machine. We do not speak the same language, but he speaks our technical language and we understood each other very well. He tried out our machines, then found us an Italian supplier we have now been working with for several years: high-technology, high-quality products at well-placed prices that give us very good profitability. We have also called on him for mechanical components and agricultural gearboxes.

Our Chinese subcontractor for motorcycle parts had serious quality problems: welding, paint, parts out of tolerance. Renaud travelled to China and sorted it all out on site — jigs, shot blasting, quality checks. We called on him for several years to follow up our production. A real teacher, diplomatic and conscientious.

Following strong growth in our business, it became essential to master our epoxy paint surface treatment in-house. Atare studied our site and our flows, followed the whole project — suppliers, contractors, teams — and we built a complete dedicated plant, from shot blasting through to packaging.

We wanted to bring the manufacture of our electrical cabinets and our automation in-house, without having the volume or the skills for it. Renaud helped us choose the site, put up the building, recruit and train our teams. We are working with him today on a new plant project in Thailand.
