What we have already designed, built, turned around and sold

Many fields of expertise, hundreds of machines and installations, audits, brands, websites: the proof, with the photos.

Our fields of expertise

Where we have excelled

Each field has its own page, with photos of our projects. No stock images: these are our machines, our plants, our sites — Renaud Tasset's real experience in the field.

What we have built

Not just machines: companies, brands, networks

Our technical fields are on this page. But Atare's experience also means companies created from a blank page, brands launched, shops opened and distribution networks built — in France, in Europe and in Asia.

Companies and brands created

A joinery business started from a blank page, now the benchmark in its area

A joinery business in the Loir-et-Cher was created from A to Z, with a starting capital of €1,000. The starting point: an identified need for quality joinery. The answer: a study of several suppliers in Poland and their products, to select a range clearly above what is usually available, at a well-placed price.

On that basis, a brand was created, then commercial development spread gradually across the whole department: first customers, reputation, then premises, and finally the largest joinery store in the Loir-et-Cher. The range widened over the years: gates, pergolas, awnings, roller shutters, motorisation and home automation.

Launched just before Covid, the company took off within a few years. It has since been sold; its current owner, a friend of Renaud's, continues to grow it. It is now a recognised brand in its department, opening new stores — a brand-led company created from scratch by Atare.

Industrial bodywork · France

Identity overhaul and launch of a tipper range

Marketing & communication auditBrand identity and product brand3.5 t tipper brochure12-month programme

The context

A family group (tarpaulins, industrial bodywork, semi-trailer distribution) taking over an industrial bodywork business and launching a range of 3.5 t tippers aimed at a dealer network.

What we did

An audit of the group's communication from the outside, like a customer discovering it: website, catalogues, photos, brand, prospecting. Then a method for the bodywork business: a brand identity for the bodywork company and a product brand for the tipper range, a tipper brochure for the trade show, product sheets, a dealer price grid, and a general catalogue assembled from the sheets as they were produced.

Agricultural equipment · Belgium / France

Business development for an agricultural equipment trader

Business developmentDealer database by departmentTrade show e-mailingCustom ERP

The context

An agricultural equipment trader (buckets, mixers, feeding, silage) selling to a dealer network in France.

What we did

Supplier partnerships, dealer prospecting, targeting by department within the customer database, an e-mail campaign around a major trade show. And a custom web-based ERP — customers, items, quotes, orders, documents — built around the way they work.

E-commerce · Europe

Online shop for motorcycle parts

Online shopProduct import toolCatalogue structureRun in-house

The context

An online shop for American motorcycle parts, sold throughout Europe.

What we did

E-commerce site, catalogue organised into menus and families, an import tool for several thousand supplier references, customer accounts, logistics. We run this shop ourselves: what we offer you, we practise.

Equipment manufacturer · France

Reorganising an agricultural equipment plant

Production managementNew laser cutting machineFlows & paint qualityOne-off assignments since

The context

A manufacturer whose production lines no longer suited the range, with insufficient paint quality.

What we did

More than six months on site: reorganisation of the production lines, integration of a new laser cutting machine, redesign of the flows, improvement of paint quality. The client still calls on Atare for one-off assignments whenever new equipment arrives.

Agri-industry · Slurry treatment

Slurry treatment and phase separation plant

Major project supervisionCoordination of contractorsAutomationStart-up

The context

A project the client had never carried out before: slurry treatment and phase separation, from the concrete work to the automation.

What we did

Full project supervision for more than six months, coordinating everyone involved — civil works, equipment, electrical, automation — through to start-up. The plant was built successfully.

Metalwork · New range

A range of electrically powered equipment

Design officeElectric driveNew range

The context

A custom metalwork subcontractor whose customer was asking for a finished product requiring electric geared motors — outside its speciality.

What we did

Design office work and support: design, sizing, fine-tuning. The result: a whole new range of powered equipment, a first for this plant, in a field it had not mastered.

Industrial group · Latin America

Purchasing and layout for a large installation

Purchasing & negotiationLayout drawingsAssignment over several years

The context

A large industrial installation in Latin America, with purchasing, suppliers and layout drawings to manage.

What we did

Several years of work: purchasing management, negotiation with suppliers, follow-up of all the layout drawings. "Exemplary work", according to the client.

Conveyors · France / Poland

Outsourced production to absorb a large order

Sourcing in PolandSub-assemblies, not the complete productTechnology protectedOutput held for several years

The context

A belt conveyor manufacturer received a large order from a major group, phased over several years — with no capacity to produce it and no room to extend its plant.

What we did

Search for and qualification of a plant in Poland, production launch, follow-up. The agreement was designed to protect the client's technology: only sub-assemblies are made outside, final assembly stays in its own workshops.

Motorcycle parts · China / United States

A Chinese subcontractor brought back up to standard, then followed

Work at the subcontractor's siteJigs & post-treatmentQuality checksFollow-up over several years

The context

An American distributor of aftermarket motorcycle parts (crash bars, sissy bars, luggage racks) made in steel by a Chinese subcontractor: poor welds and paint, parts out of tolerance.

What we did

A trip to China to the supplier, working in its workshop as if part of the company: new jigs, shot blasting as post-treatment, paint thickness and oven temperature checks, welding fine-tuned. Then several years of production follow-up.

Hydraulic components · Spain

Specification reworked, supplier replaced, margins up

Specification correctedComponent testingNew supplier negotiatedMargins increased

The context

A small Spanish equipment manufacturer with doubts about the sizing of its hydraulic motors and about the real quality of the products delivered by its supplier.

What we did

The studies and specifications were reviewed on site: the hydraulic motor specification was at fault. Component testing showed the supplier was not meeting the stated quality. Search for the best hydraulic motors, negotiation, validation through robustness and durability testing. As a bonus, a well-priced electric motor manufacturer — and higher margins.

Automation & weighing · Poland

An automation and weighing supplier found for a mixer feeder manufacturer

Trials on the machinesItalian supplier qualifiedWell-placed prices, profitabilityA partnership of several years

The context

A Polish manufacturer of agricultural mixer feeders that could not find automation and weighing systems suited to its machines.

What we did

A visit to the plant, trials on the machines, understanding the need in the client's technical language. Search for and introduction to a high-technology Italian supplier, at well-placed prices. The partnership has lasted several years, and has extended to mechanical components and agricultural gearboxes.

Sourcing · China

Supplier audits and setting up the export chain

Plant audits on siteProduct quality controlExport chain set upSeveral assignments

The context

European companies that had identified several potential suppliers in China, without being able to judge their reliability on the ground.

What we did

Several trips to China: visiting and studying the plants, analysing quality and inspection resources, checking the products, then setting up the whole export chain with the client. The supplier was chosen in the workshop, not on a website.

Livestock equipment manufacturer

A line of complete-ration mixer feeders

Interim managementTechnical managementRange development

The context

A technical director absent through illness, and a range to develop.

What we did

Replacement of the technical director and development of a whole line of complete-ration mixer feeders, until the postholder returned.

Surface treatment · France

A turnkey plant dedicated to epoxy painting

Site & flow studyFull site supervisionComplete paint lineSubcontracting since

The context

Following strong growth, a manufacturer needed to bring its epoxy paint surface treatment in-house, having previously outsourced it.

What we did

A study of the site and the flows to position the future line, supervision of the whole project — suppliers, contractors, teams — through to a complete dedicated plant: shot blasting, phosphating, rinsing, drying, painting robot, touch-up booth, oven and powder recycling, right through to packaging. The client now paints for itself, but also as a subcontractor.

Wealth management · France

Lead generation for a consulting firm

Communication auditCompetitor analysisPage-by-page website reviewPrioritised action plan

The context

An independent firm, two offices, four advisers, excellent customer reviews — and not enough incoming enquiries.

What we did

An audit of communication and lead generation: the website page by page, Google business profiles, directories, social media, advertising, competitors. Diagnosis: the firm lacks neither credibility nor satisfied clients, it lacks channels. A prioritised action plan, starting with what could not wait.

Electrical cabinets & automation · France / Thailand

Bringing electrical cabinet manufacturing in-house

Choice of siteConstruction of the buildingRecruitment & trainingNew project in Thailand

The context

A client outsourced its electrical cabinets and automation, without the volume or the technical skills to bring that manufacturing in-house.

What we did

Support with the choice of site, the construction of the building, and the recruitment and training of the teams. The client now produces its own electrical cabinets, and is working with Atare on a new plant project in Thailand.

They trusted us

What our clients say

Renaud spent more than six months in our plant. We were able to reorganise our production lines, integrate a new laser cutting machine, and improve our flows as well as the quality of our paintwork. A real asset — we still call him for one-off assignments whenever new equipment arrives in the workshop.

Marc G.Equipment manufacturer, France

We were having design problems on some machines. We specialise in custom sheet metal subcontracting, and the customer needed a finished product requiring electric geared motors. Thanks to Renaud, we developed a whole new range of powered equipment.

Olivier R.Industrial metalwork

We needed to replace a technical director after a departure. Renaud came to us and we developed a whole line of complete-ration mixer feeders. What a time saver!

AlbertLivestock equipment manufacturer

Renaud travelled all the way to us. We really improved our quality, our production speed and our capacity to innovate. If you need to build any kind of machine, call on him.

MarinaManufacturer, Latin America

We had a large project that had never been carried out before: slurry treatment and phase separation. Renaud followed the whole project for more than six months, from the concrete work to the automation, coordinating everyone involved. The plant was built with great success.

YoussefAgri-industrial project

For a large installation in Latin America, we needed someone to handle our purchasing, negotiate with our suppliers and follow up all the layout drawings. Exemplary work, several years alongside him. We recommend him.

AlfredoIndustrial group, Latin America

A large order from a major group came in when I did not have the capacity to produce it. Renaud started production in Poland for us, with a clever arrangement: only sub-assemblies are made there, so we keep control of our technology. Very pleased with how thorough he is.

Jean-LouisIndustrial equipment manufacturer, France

We are a small company, an equipment manufacturer in Spain. We met Renaud on the recommendation of one of his clients. We had a serious problem with hydraulic components: doubts about the sizing and about the real quality of the products delivered by our supplier. Renaud came to us, went back over all our studies and specifications, and we found a specification problem on that type of hydraulic motor — then, after many tests, that the supplier was not meeting the stated quality. He went off to find us the best hydraulic motors and to negotiate the prices. He came back a few weeks later with a motor that fully satisfied us, later validated in robustness and durability testing. He also found us a very sound electric motor manufacturer at very well-placed prices — which increased our margins.

Jean-LucEquipment manufacturer, Spain

I manufacture agricultural mixer feeders in Poland. I was having trouble finding automation and weighing systems. Renaud came to us, looked at our production and understood our machine. We do not speak the same language, but he speaks our technical language and we understood each other very well. He tried out our machines, then found us an Italian supplier we have now been working with for several years: high-technology, high-quality products at well-placed prices that give us very good profitability. We have also called on him for mechanical components and agricultural gearboxes.

MateuszAgricultural mixer feeder manufacturer, Poland

Our Chinese subcontractor for motorcycle parts had serious quality problems: welding, paint, parts out of tolerance. Renaud travelled to China and sorted it all out on site — jigs, shot blasting, quality checks. We called on him for several years to follow up our production. A real teacher, diplomatic and conscientious.

RobMotorcycle parts distributor, United States

Following strong growth in our business, it became essential to master our epoxy paint surface treatment in-house. Atare studied our site and our flows, followed the whole project — suppliers, contractors, teams — and we built a complete dedicated plant, from shot blasting through to packaging.

LionelSurface treatment, epoxy paint

We wanted to bring the manufacture of our electrical cabinets and our automation in-house, without having the volume or the skills for it. Renaud helped us choose the site, put up the building, recruit and train our teams. We are working with him today on a new plant project in Thailand.
